Your new LinkedIn banner, headline and Featured

Five options. Pick one number and use that option's banner, headline and Featured tile together. Every option points people to the guide you've already made, 5 Tips to Securing Your Dream Home Before It Hits the Market, with the keyword that is already on your profile: “EAST”.

Every banner and Featured tile, full size, ready to upload.

Your plan

Who
Families buying the family home in Melbourne's east and bayside: two careers, $1.5M to $3.5M, school zones, and Saturdays lost to open homes.
The workshop
Buy Before It's Listed: a small free evening for those families, built on the Malvern surgeons who'd lost three auctions out of four and bought $80k under their ceiling.
Your profile
The banners, headline and Featured all say “buy before it's listed”, and DM “EAST” sends your 5 Tips guide. The guide is the giveaway. The evening is the next step up, where you tell the same story live.
DM or invite
Someone likes a post or connects: send the one-shot DM. Families on your list: send invite 1, the follow-up 2 days later, then the Hail Mary 3 days after that. Brokers on your partner list get version D. Three touches, then stop.

The one-shot DM

Send this to anyone who likes or comments on one of your posts, or anyone you've just connected with. Swap the highlighted bits for each person.

Your message

Hey [FIRST NAME] - I'm just about to head out the door to pick up my daughter, so I thought I'd send this quickly before I forget.

I saw you [liked / commented on] my post about [TOPIC] (or: thanks for connecting!), so I wanted to say hi properly.

I'm Jack and I run Infive. We buy family homes in Melbourne's east and bayside for families who don't have the Saturdays to do it themselves. We only work for the buyer, for one fixed fee.

I had a look at your profile, and you reminded me of [CLIENT NAME], who I was just on the phone with.

[He/She/They] [RESULT].

The reason it works is that every agent at the auction works for the seller, and I used to be one of them. So I know how the other side runs a campaign, and 1 in 5 of the homes we buy never hit the public market.

It's taken 500+ homes bought and sold to really dial this in.

And right now, we've got an offer where [THE OFFER].

As you can imagine, the percentage fee isn't a big fan of us haha. But we don't mind. The more families who have someone in their corner, the better.

Anyway, I really gotta grab my daughter or we'll be late for [ACTIVITY].

Happy to walk you through how it works? I've got [TIME 1] or [TIME 2] free tomorrow.

If not, no biggie at all. Happy to just send you my guide instead, 5 Tips to Securing Your Dream Home Before It Hits the Market.

Nice to meet you!

Cheers,
Jack

What goes in each gap

  • [TOPIC]: the post they reacted to. For a new connection, use “thanks for connecting!”.
  • [CLIENT NAME] + [RESULT]: a real client who looks like this person, straight from your record. For example: the Malvern surgeons, third auction loss in four, bought $80k under their ceiling. The Hawthorn family from Sydney, secured at $2.85m pre-auction and never flew down. The Canterbury family you told to walk away, then found a better home six weeks later.
  • [THE OFFER]: whatever you're running right now, such as a free 15-minute call on their brief, or auction bidding on a house they've already found.
  • [ACTIVITY] and the times: whatever is actually on with your daughter, and two real slots tomorrow.

Invite them to a workshop

These messages invite families on your list, and the brokers you work with, to one small evening. The first two only ask if they'd like to come. The booking link goes out in the Hail Mary, or as soon as someone says yes.

The workshop

Buy Before It's Listed

How to hear about the family home before it hits the market, and how to stop losing at auction.

  • In person, a weeknight at [PLACE in the east]
  • About an hour
  • [SEATS] families (12 is a good room)
  • Free
What it covers
  1. Where the 1 in 5 homes that never hit the public market come from, and how to be the buyer the agent calls first.
  2. How the seller's agent runs the campaign (you used to be one), and why you never tell them your maximum.
  3. Auction day: how to bid, and when to walk away.
Why this workshop

It's built on your Malvern clients: two surgeons who'd lost three auctions out of four and were ready to give up, and then bought $80k under their ceiling. Every family on your list who's lost an auction is them. The other versions use your Hawthorn and Camberwell results.

  • EAST now sends your guide. Your current headline promises “the best places to buy right now”. Every option here promises the guide instead, because that's what you can send today. If you'd rather keep the suburb promise, write the shortlist first.
  • Pick one years number. Your headline says 10 years and your website says fifteen. None of the five options uses a years number, so there's nothing to reconcile on the new profile. Fix the website to match whichever one you keep.
  • Set up the evening before you invite anyone. The invites need a date, a room in the east, a seat count and a booking link. Your calendar link is for 15-minute calls, so it isn't the one to send.
  • Noel Jones logo: option 2 shows the Noel Jones logo next to “Ex-”, because you sold there for nearly five years (it's on your LinkedIn). Check you're comfortable showing it.
  • Check the guide's email. The guide lists hello@infive.agency and the old logo. The infive.agency link still forwards to infive.com.au, but make sure that inbox works, or swap it for jack@infive.com.au.
